Single-Use Credit Cards
You can allow users to purchase travel with a credit that is not stored anywhere in the system, called a single-use credit card in Deem, providing clients another option for purchases. The card entered will not be stored in the user’s account.
Benefits and Need to Know
The option to use a single-use credit card is configured under Display Configurations for a specific display configuration. It allows a specific group to use a single-use credit card that does not save to the user profile. Single-use cards can be used for air and rail purchases, and hotel guarantees.
For example:Â
Clients may want a user group to have VPay for hotels, and a single-use card for air and rail.
Clients may also have a group where they allow for a group to purchase air and rail with a site payment card, individual card stored in user account as well as a single-use card.
Tip: To see examples of the traveler experience on the purchase page for single-use credit cards, see the examples in Payment Options.
