Web services let you to configure how user profile data is pulled into the system and synchronized with other profile management systems. 

Note: You click Web Services Rules under the Rules tab to enable or disable web service access for a group of users. See Web Services Rules for details.

To configure web service settings, click the Settings tab, and then click Web Services. The Settings | Web Services page appears. Click a link to configure the web service option:

Profile Pull Web Service

Financial Reporting Service

Touch User Profiles for Synchronization

Click Touch user profiles for synchronization to synchronize user profile information at specific dates and times. You can select a group to synchronize in the Name dropdown menu or select the Everyone group or Profile Sync. 

Connector / Web Service Partner Configuration

Click Connector / Web Service Partner Configuration to configure web service credentials and endpoints.
