Optionally, select Show only inactive users to narrow search to only inactive accounts. Deselect this option to reset the password of an active account.
Select Search.
Note: If you know there are fewer than 200 user accounts you can leave all search options blank and click search.
In Search Results, select Add to move the user for activation or password reset to the Selected Results list.
Continue to add users to Selected Results until all users are listed to send an email for activation or password reset. Select Continue.
Select from the Password Options.
Have system generate random password: System generates an activation email and will force the client to reset their password upon their initial login.
Pre-define password for user:Â Select this option if you would like to define the password for the user. Enter the defined password in the Password field and then re-enter it as prompted. Ensure you provide the defined password to the user.
Force user to change password on first login: It is recommended to select this if you are manually setting the password for the user.
Note: System generated passwords are recommended for security, however, you have the option of pre-defining a password, if necessary.
Select Activate Now.
The User tab redisplays upon a successful activation or password reset. If the user indicates they have not received the password reset email, please have them check their email spam, junk, or deleted email folders.
