Display Option Rules

Overview

Display Option Rules set the default date, time, time zone, and currency within the user account. Users can access their account and change their preferences.

Need to know

  • Display options are cloned from template during the cloning process.

  • Display options can be customized by group or site wide.

  • Note: Changes to the Display Options Rules are not retroactive. If user accounts already exist in the site and any changes are made to the display options, the user will need to manually change their display options within their user account.

Display option rules configuration

To add or update Display Option Rules:

  1. From the Partner Dashboard home page, select Settings in the Edit Site column for the site that needs updating.

  2. On the Rules tab, select Display Option Rules.

  3. Optionally, you can create and configure a group. Typically, there is only one display option configuration which applies to all users. However, you can configure more than one set of display options, especially for clients with users in multiple countries. See configuring a group. The default is that display options apply to all users.

  4. Select Add or Edit to configure the rule. Add indicates the rule is inactive; Edit indicates the rule is active.

  5. Optionally, enter a Description of the rule, viewable to Partner Dashboard/Console Admin only.

  6. Select Activate Rule.

  7. Select appropriate options for rule group you are configuring, including Country, if the rules don’t apply to all.

  8. Select Save.

  9. Continue configuring rules as necessary. Once you have configured each rule, select Save Priority Changes.

  10. Select the link to the left of the Deem logo indicating that changes are not applied.

  11. Select Commit to apply the changes.
