Configuring Automated Ticket Exchange for a Site
Automated ticket exchange provides enhanced online flight change functionality and automated ticket exchange processing, which helps reduce liability while saving time and ensuring accuracy. It automatically recalculates complex fares, taxes and penalties for domestic and international flights. Users are aware of fees and other rules at the shopping level, allowing them to make smart decisions. It even signals users if lower-cost, in-program fares are available for exchange.

On the Services tab, select Travel Policy.
Select Policy List.
Select the existing display configuration you would like to edit.
Apply lowest policy compliant airfare to unused ticket add collect: Select Yes or No
Yes: The policy will use the ticket exchange add-collect value as the minimum compliant fare, rather than the new ticket value, when applying unused tickets. The system estimates the cost of changing the trip for each available flight option and applies the minimum cost savings to the lowest available price based on the ticket exchange. If the system recommends issuing a new ticket, the policy will be based on the cost of this new ticket compared to similar options where the original unused ticket is not included in the exchange solution.
Must travelers select an airline for which there are wholly unused e-tickets?: Recommend No.
