Is there a setup fee for providers?

Yes. Deem charges a one-time setup fee. This fee is billed to the credit card submitted during the registration process.

Is there a fee per ride reservation?

Yes, but only for a completed ride. Deem charges $1 per ride to the provider that sends a reservation, and $1 to the affiliate provider that receives the reservation and completes the ride.

How are providers charged the reservation fee?

A provider supplies a credit card when signing up for Affiliate Connect, and Deem charges the credit card each month for all transferred rides associated with that provider.

Handling Reservations

How does a provider farm out a ride reservation to an affiliate provider?

You choose an affiliate provider in a specific service area for the ride reservation. If you use one of the integrated back-office systems (as described in the "Introduction" section), you can select a reservation and assign it to an affiliate. Consult the documentation for your back-office system. For information on how to use Deem Car Fleet Management, see

Using Affiliate Connect with Deem Car Fleet Management.

If you don't use an integrated back-office system that can automatically send out reservations to affiliates, you can use an Internet browser to access the Affiliate Connect as described in Deem Affiliate Connect Browser Guide. You can find affiliate providers as described in Viewing Reservation Activity and Affiliate Providers.

If you use one of the integrated back-office systems, incoming reservations appear in your back-office system. Consult the documentation for your back-office system.

How does an affiliate provider handle a change to a reservation from another provider?

If you use one of the integrated back-office systems, reservation changes from the sending provider appear in your back-office system. Consult the documentation for your back-office system. For information on how to use Deem Car Fleet Management, see

Using Affiliate Connect with Deem Car Fleet Management.

If you are not using an integrated back-office system, you can use your Internet browser as described in the Deem Affiliate Connect Browser Guide to view the Pending Reservation Queue. If the sending provider changes a reservation, the changed reservation appears in this list as a pending reservation. Click the link in the "Res No" column to view details about the reservation. If the reservation is a change request, the modified information in the reservation appears highlighted in yellow. See Accepting or Declining Farmed-In Reservations for instructions.

What if the affiliate provider is sold out for the requested day and time?

If the affiliate provider has already accepted the reservation, the affiliate provider must fulfill the request for a ride. If the affiliate provider has not yet accepted the reservation, the affiliate provider can decline the reservation.
