Using the Reservations Module

Reservations lets you create, manage, and process ride information. The basic procedures for managing the reservation operation are as follows:

  1. Create a new reservation. See Creating a New Reservation in Reservations for details.
  2. Place vehicles on duty by setting the Vehicle Status to ON. See Assigning Ride Status and Viewing Ride and Vehicle History in Reservations for more information.
  3. Assign drivers and vehicles to the rides. See Viewing and Dispatching Rides in Reservations.
  4. You can print, fax, or email the driver trip tickets to distribute the rides to your drivers. See Generating Price Quotes and Reports in Reservations for details on printing a driver trip ticket.
  5. Dispatch rides from the dispatch grid. See Viewing and Dispatching Rides in Reservations for details.
  6. Update the dispatch statuses (On Location, Passenger on Board, Ride Complete) that are activated for your operation. See Viewing and Dispatching Rides in Reservations  for details.
  7. Manage cancellations, no-shows, changes, and flight updates as needed. See Completing Rides and Reporting Incidents in Reservations.
