Delegate (Booker) Access
A delegate is someone who can book Car Service for someone else. For example, an administrative assistant might be delegate for a manager, or a travel manager might be a delegate for a number of employees.
- If you're already set up as a delegate for another user, you'll see the "people icon" to the left of the Gear icon in the top right corner of the screen. Hover over this icon to see who you're already able to assist, and be sure to review and update the traveler's account/profile info before starting the first booking (see Step #5 below).
- If you need to become a delegate for someone who you are not already a delegate for, follow the steps below.
Step #1- Click on Account, which you can locate under the Gear icon on the top right.
Step #2- Click on the Edit button next to Delegates.
If there is no Edit button to the right of the Delegates option or the Delegates option is completely missing, this feature may be restricted or not enabled for your site. Please contact the phone or email noted at the bottom of each page on your site for additional assistance.
Step #3- Start typing in the first name, last name, or email address of the person you are searching for. Once you see their name, click on the circle next to the name and hit the blue Select button.
Step #4- You will now see the person has been added as someone you can book for. That individual will receive an email notification that you have requested delegate access.
No approval is needed but if they don't want you to be a delegate for them, they can go into their account and click the Delete button in blue as shown below.
Step #5- Click the people icon and you will now see the name of the person you just added. If you do not see the person you just added, refresh the page
Click on the name of the person you'd like to Start Assisting.
Step #6- You will now be in assisting mode and able to book a ride for the traveler and access their account/profile.
Be sure to review and update the traveler's account/profile info before starting the first booking (including updating payment info, mobile phone and adding new addresses, etc.). Click the Gear icon in the top right when in Assisting mode.
Once you are done assisting, simply click the "Stop Assisting" button on the top right of the screen.
Adding a Delegate for Yourself
Follow these steps:
- Click Add a delegate in the People Who Can Book and Submit For Me section. The Add a Delegate page appears.
- Enter a name or email address in the Search field to search for the person who will act as your delegate. One or more names appear.
- Click the radio button next to the person's name in the search results.
- Click the Select button. A confirmation email is automatically sent to both yourself (confirming your delegate) and to the person you have set as a delegate.
Removing a Delegate
If you want to remove a delegate from your account, click the Edit button next to "Delegates". You can then click Delete to remove the delegate from your account.
