What is the Car Service App?

Deem’s integrated desktop and mobile ride management apps provide business travelers with the convenience of booking rides with trusted and reliable car service providers. An intuitive, consumer-style interface enables users to easily book, modify, and cancel reservations seamlessly across mobile and desktop devices. The apps provide complete visibility into pricing details, so users can choose and reserve car service with no surprises or hidden charges. Integrated with the company policy and empowered with delegate management capabilities, companies are provided the ability to control costs and enforce policies.



What are the benefits of using the Car Service App?

    • Faster booking: The app automatically calculates pickup times based on flight itinerary and also provides instant address validation and type-ahead capability.
       
    • Rate shopping: Vendor prices appear on the first screen following the initial search, enabling you to choose the most cost-effective provider for any given area.
       
    • Informative trip calculations: The app provides drive-time and distance calculations for a trip, based on time of day and traffic patterns.
       
    • Applies corporate preferences and policies: The app stores corporate client vendor preferences and payment preferences for quick and visible reference, with real-time policy updates.
       
    • Quickly enables repeat trips: Users can easily select addresses in their address book in an easy-to-view pick list.

How do I login for the first time?

If your company has SSO enabled, you will be sent a URL by your company's corporate travel administrator and you will use your corporate credentials to login for the firs time.

If you're company does not have SSO enabled, you will use the link to your company's car service website and you will be required to establish a username (may or may not match their email address) and a password as part of the account activation process and you will use those credentials for signing in to the desktop.

What should I review at my Personal Account level?

Be sure to review your profile information and update as necessary, items such as home and work address, phone number, delegate assignments, personal address book entries, and credit cards on file. How do I become a delegate for a traveler?

If enabled on your site, you can select Become a Delegate from your Profile, from the Account section. See Delegates: Booking on Behalf of Someone Else for instructions.

Which providers appear in the Car Service App?

The list of available providers and vehicles is based on the preferred merchants and rates available to the corporation for which you are booking the transportation.

How do I begin a car service booking?

Once you login, you will be on the Trip Planner screen which is where you will enter your pick-up and drop-off locations plus the date and time of your trip. You will then move on to the Search Results screen.

How do I enter pickup and drop-off information?

Your home, work, and address book entries will be selectable in the Pickup and Drop Off fields, if they've been added to your profile. If your company has saved company addresses, they will inform you what to search for. Often it it the abbreviation of the company name followed by a dash, which will populate all of the office locations that have been uploaded. You can also type a few letters or words for the point of interest you are looking for and Google Maps will take into account your IP address and pull up matches which you then select.

If you are booking for someone on the other side of the country be sure to enter the state when you are searching for locations and the location choices will pop up.

How do I select a provider and see rates?

After entering the trip information and clicking Continue, a list of providers appears. You can hover over the blue link that says Flat Rate or Hourly Rate to see a breakdown of the rate for the provider result.

How do I finish the booking?

After selecting a provider, a screen appears with accounting and billing information. If you have Cost Center and Department Codes, you can enter them here.

How do I view Upcoming and Previous Reservations?

Click the Reservations tab where you can toggle between Upcoming Reservations and Archive to see future and past reservations. 

Canceling or Changing a Reservation

How do I cancel a reservation?

Click the Reservations tab, and click the Cancel Ride link in the right column of a previously booked reservation. 

How do I change a reservation?

Click the Reservations tab, and click the Make Changes link in the right column of a currently booked reservation.
