Configuring Private Rates
Private Rates are discounted airline fares and hotel and car rental agency rates that your company or travel agency has already negotiated with vendors. Private rate choices appear at the top of the user's search results.
Note: You use a Private Rate to override the agency configuration for negotiated rates, using a different rate code than the one used for the negotiated rates configuration for the global distributions system (GDS). However, if several airlines use the same rate code, enter the code in the negotiated rates section of the agency configuration, as described in "Travel Settings and Negotiated Rates" in Adding or Changing Agency Settings.
After clicking the Services tab and clicking the Private Rates link, the Private Rates page appears.
