Updating the Status of Current Reservations

You can use an Internet browser to access the Affiliate Connect site to update a reservation's status — to show that a car has been assigned, the driver is on location, the ride has been completed, and so forth. 

Note:

  • If you use one of the integrated back-office systems, you can use your back-office system to update a farmed-in reservation's status. Consult the documentation for your back-office system.
  • For information on how to use Deem Car Fleet Management to update a farmed-in reservation's status, see Using the Reservations Module or Using the Dispatch Module depending on which module you use for dispatching reservations.

If you don't use an integrated back-office system, you can use an Internet browser to log into Affiliate Connect site and follow these steps:

  1. To list all current reservations that have been accepted, click the Current Reservations link. 



    Tip: You can also click the numeric link in the "Farmed-In" column for Upcoming Reservations or Today's Reservations within the Transaction Statistics on the home page.

  2. Choose the date range by clicking the calendar icon and choosing the starting and ending date of the range, as shown below:



  3. Click Get Reservations. A list of current reservations appears.



  4. (Optional) Click the link in the "Res No" column to view details about the reservation, and click the link in the "Provider" column to view information about the provider.
  5. Click the Update Status link to update the status of the reservation. The Update Status dialog appears, with choices for the new status:



  6. Click the radio button for one of the following:
    • Car Assigned: As shown above, the Car Number field appears. Enter the car number.
    • ETA: The ETA (Minutes) field appears. Enter the estimated time of arrival in minutes.
    • Driver On Location: To indicate that the driver is on location.
    • Passenger Pickup: To indicate that the passenger has been picked up.
    • Completed: To indicate that the ride has been completed.
  7. (Optional) Review the reservation information that appears below the Send Status and Cancel buttons.
  8. After choosing the status, click Send Status to send the updated status back to the sending provider.
