Extracting User Profiles

To extract user profiles for offline use, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Extract Profiles link under the Profiles tab. The Extract Profiles page appears.
  2. Choose User Profile or User-Delegate Relationships from the Extract Type dropdown menu.
  3. Choose one of the following from the Extract By dropdown menu:
    • Domain: Site level.
    • Sub-Domain: The Sub-Domains section appears. Choose the Sub-Domain Name from the dropdown menu. 
    • Group: The Groups section appears. Choose the Group Name from the dropdown menu. 
    • WebService Subscription: The WebServices section appears. Choose the WebService Subscription from the dropdown menu. (To set up a WebService subscription, see Web Services.)
  4. The Query section appears for Domain, Sub-Domain, or Group: 
    1. Choose Full Download or Selective Download from the Type dropdown menu.
    2. Click the checkbox for the "Include only active employees" option to include only active users.
  5. In the Filter section, click the checkboxes for fields to extract. You can click the name for a set of fields, such as "userinfo", to automatically select all of those fields, or click the expand (+) button to show all of the fields and selectively choose which ones to extract.   6. In the Output Destination section, choose the SFTP server account name.
  7. In the File Format section, click either the CSV (comma-separated values) or XML (Extensible Markup Language) radio button. Enter a password for a zipped archive if you require a password (optional).
  8. In the Job Options section, enter a name for the job in Job Description and an email address to identify where the Job Completion Email will be sent. 
  9. Click the Submit button.
