Extracting User Profiles
To extract user profiles for offline use, follow these steps:
- Click the Extract Profiles link under the Profiles tab. The Extract Profiles page appears.
- Choose User Profile or User-Delegate Relationships from the Extract Type dropdown menu.
- Choose one of the following from the Extract By dropdown menu:
- Domain: Site level.
- Sub-Domain: The Sub-Domains section appears. Choose the Sub-Domain Name from the dropdown menu.
- Group: The Groups section appears. Choose the Group Name from the dropdown menu.
- WebService Subscription: The WebServices section appears. Choose the WebService Subscription from the dropdown menu. (To set up a WebService subscription, see Web Services.)
- The Query section appears for Domain, Sub-Domain, or Group:
- Choose Full Download or Selective Download from the Type dropdown menu.
- Click the checkbox for the "Include only active employees" option to include only active users.
- In the Filter section, click the checkboxes for fields to extract. You can click the name for a set of fields, such as "userinfo", to automatically select all of those fields, or click the expand (+) button to show all of the fields and selectively choose which ones to extract. - In the Output Destination section, choose the SFTP server account name.
- In the File Format section, click either the CSV (comma-separated values) or XML (Extensible Markup Language) radio button. Enter a password for a zipped archive if you require a password (optional).
- In the Job Options section, enter a name for the job in Job Description and an email address to identify where the Job Completion Email will be sent.
- Click the Submit button.
