This is where Lists and Sets come into play.

  • You have created your lists such as VIP Policy and Default Policy, then added them to a set, which allows you apply them to the appropriate Service Rule/Group.

  • Click link for further information about Lists, Sets and Rules.

Important: If you make any changes to your configuration, ensure that Service Rules are updated as well (for example, if new preferred hotels or reference points are uploaded).

Access Service Rules

  1. From the partner dashboard home page, select the Settings link for the site you want to modify.

  2. From the top menu, select the Rules tab.

  3. Select Service Rules.

The list of Groups and their associated priority display.

Group priority

Users are evaluated when they log into the system. If they do not meet the qualifications of the first group, they are evaluated by the next group and so on. If they do not meet any of the group qualifications, they are considered to be in the Everyone (default) group.

Enabling Service Rules for Each Group

Services Rules is where it all comes together, you will now apply the sets you have configured throughout the configuration process.

Note: If you make any changes to your configuration, you will need to ensure Service Rules are updated as well.

Configure a Service Rule

The Service Rules page lists the existing groups, priority, and rules. For each rule, colors indicate whether or not it is active for a group.

Special areas to Note:

  • Select Compliance Codes set from list of options. (Required, even if policy is not applied).

  • Select the checkbox to the left of Enable Car Service with the following options, if Car Services are allowed.

    • If you have reference points loaded, you can select the reference points from the list of options.

  • Once you have completed all of your update, select Save.

  • If you are in the process of configuring the Service Rules but forgot to create the set for a particular area, do not worry. There is a link next to each section, which will bring you to the specific configuration in the site, for you to add or update.

Example: Vendor Preferences

  • If you had created the list but forgot to add is to the set.

    • Select Add/Edit Airline Set.

    • From the set page, you can add a new set or edit an existing set.

  2. The Compliance Codes section is required, even if a policy is not applied.

  3. When all preferences are set, select Save.

  4. Update each group as necessary, select Save Priority Changes.

  5. Commit the changes.
