Tentative Trips Configuration

After clicking the Services tab, clicking Policy Display, the Services | Display Management page displays.    Click the Display Configuration List link, here you can add or edit a display configuration. The Add or Edit page includes the Tentative Trips Configuration for held trips. Enter or choose the following:

Do you permit travelers to hold tentative trips? Choose No, or choose Yes with the following selections:

1. What is the minimum time prior to departure required to hold a tentative trip? Choose a time from the dropdown menu (hours). This is typically set to 6 or 12 hours.
2. When a tentative trip is held, the system can remind the traveler that their booking should be purchased or cancelled. When should the system send this email reminder: Choose Do not send a reminder or After 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours.
3. Allow reservations to be placed on hold until: Choose Time limit of most restrictive segment, 24 hours or time limit of most restrictive segment, whichever is earlier, or 48 hours or time limit of most restrictive segment, whichever is earlier.
4. Override company name on disclaimer: Enter a name other than the company name to display on the travel disclaimer, if appropriate.
