Rental Car Shopping Display Configuration

After clicking the Services tab, clicking Policy Display, the Services | Display Management page displays.    Click the Display Configuration List link, here you can add or edit a display configuration. The Add or Edit page includes the Rental Car Shopping Display Configuration.  Enter or choose the following:

1. Restrict car sizes to users? Choose one of the following:
   • No: Do not restrict car sizes.
   • Yes; Restrict car sizes. For "Do not display these car sizes," select the car sizes in the selection box (such as Luxury). Click the first car size, and then hold down Control (CTRL) and click subsequent car sizes, or hold down the Shift key to select a range of car sizes. These sizes will not appear to users.
2. Default car size: Choose the default car size (such as Economy) from the dropdown menu.
3. Do not display these car types: Select the car types in the selection box. Click the first car type (such as 4-5 Door), and then hold down Control (CTRL) and click subsequent car types, or hold down the Shift key to select a range of car types. These car types will not appear to users.
4. Hide the car matrix on the search results: Choose Yes to hide the car matrix, or No.
5. Require form of payment for Rental Car only bookings: Choose Yes to require a form of payment, or No.
6. Restrict users from booking Hybrids: Choose Yes to restrict users from booking hybrid vehicles, or No.

7. Allow out of rental cars to be bookable? 

   • Choose Yes to allow users to book out-of-policy car rentals.
   • Choose No to not allow an out-of-policy car rental. The Select button is not activated when such a car rental is chosen.
