Overview

General Settings is used to manage settings for launch date, session timeout, delegate settings, log-in page and footer messaging, and calendar attachments.

General Settings

On Settings tab, select General Settings.

Select the launch date or the date that you start building your site.

Set the User session timeout to 30 minutes. Deem will be removing this option in the near future, all sites will be set to 30 minutes.
When Allow User Delegation is checked, the traveler can assign a delegate to their account who can then book travel for them and update their profile.
When Allow Self Delegation is checked, delegates can assign themselves to a user’s account to book travel on their behalf and update their profile.

The Display customer-defined help: (Do not change). This is programmed at the Superdomain level by Deem.

When Display a hint to users on sign-in page is checked, enter the hint text. This option is available only if the client does not have Single Sign-On (SSO) configured.

When Display a hint to the user on the password reset page is checked, enter the hint text.

Enter Calendar object footer text.

Help Desk

To display technical support information to users, select Display a hint to users on the technical support method then enter the support information. Scripting is supported.

Notes:

This text is displayed at the bottom of the sign in page and at the bottom of the website throughout the booking process.
The help desk contact method displays at the bottom of Deem emails, confirmation, cancellations, etc.

UI

Do not enter information in the UI section at this time. The Deem Configuration team will update if required.

Calendar Attachments

Enter the calendar attachments display name and check the Automatically update option if you want to automatically update the calendar of internal invitees.
