Deem Enhancements for 2021.7 & 2021.8 Executive Summary

About the Release Notes  

Deem release notes provide useful technical information about the latest release. For each release, the notes provide:

  • A high-level description of the release, including major changes and enhancements

Enhancements for August & September 2021 (Release 2021.7 & 2021.8)

Logi Reporting VOC-15354

  • Description: Logi reporting will be available for all sites by default.

  • Benefit: Customers will now have access to reporting by default.

  • Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Single-Use Credit Card JAR-4148

  • Description: We have updated the system to allow travelers to use single-use credit card for their booking.

  • Benefit: Travelers should now be able to add single-use credit card with billing address information successfully.

  • Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Amadeus Hotel Bookings VOC-16176

  • Description: We have updated the system to allow Amadeus users to search for a new hotel, when the original hotel booking fails due to lack of loyalty number.

  • Benefit: Travelers will now be able to save time and select a new hotel, when the original booking fails due to lack of loyalty number.

  • Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Amadeus - Car Shopping VOC-16199

  • Description: We have updated the system to allow Amadeus users to search for a new rental car, when they are unable to book the selected car.

  • Benefit: Travelers will now be able to save time and select a new rental car, when the original booking fails.

  • Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Bug Fixes for August & September 2021 (Release 2021.7 & 2021.8)

  • Travelers that have a Dynamic Site Message appearing on the Trip Planner page are now able to use Book Again feature.

  • Amadeus users are able to complete changes to existing bookings.

  • Amadeus customers will experience an improvement in behavior when a special equipment request is included in the car rental reservation request. If the car vendor rejects the special equipment request, the car segment will be re-sold without the special equipment.

  • When Southwest Airlines is sourced from a GDS ancillary configuration, a tabbed display of all fare types will be presented for all sites, regardless of display configuration.

  • Location Service has been updated to skip the street address field when one is not present.

  • Car Service bookings made through Etta Desktop will now sync to the calendar at the correct pickup time.

  • Confirmed Car Service reservations will no longer show as On Request.

  • Users are able to activate accounts in meetings mode when no timezone is set in the profile.

  • Refundable/Non-refundable badges do not change from search to Trip Review page.
