Benefits and Need to Know
Creating a corporate payment card set allows you to specify a group of related company credit cards, based on their shared BIN, that are considered in-policy for booking travel for specific user groups.
Corporate payment cards are similar to but used differently than Site Payment Cards:
Corporate payment card: A corporate card with its card number stored at the traveler user profile level. As detailed below, at the site level, you create a card set based on a shared BIN number, and then assign that card set to one or more user group/s. If users in that group do not select a corporate payment card to use for travel, the trip is considered out-of-policy, and the user will be required to select from a list of compliance codes.
Site Payment Card: A corporate card with its card number stored at the company site level. Site Payment Cards details how to create a site payment card, assign it to a site payment card set, and assign that set to one or more user group/s. Users in that group can be restricted to using only the site payment card for travel, or they can be allowed to use either the site payment card or a card stored in their profile.
Tip: To see examples of the traveler experience on the purchase page for corporate payment cards, see the examples in Payment Options.
The client must provide you with the financial institution’sBIN number, which is typically the first six to eight digits of the card number.
