Sabre Red App: Authorized Wait Time


Description: Authorized Wait Time can be enabled and selected for any provider.

Benefit: Providers that support Authorized Wait Time can be configured to display an option to select this service on the Reservation screen. When Authorized Wait Time is selected the provider will receive the reservation with a flag set to “Y” so they know wait time was approved for the ride.

Booking Agent Experience: When a provider with Authorized Wait Time enabled is selected from the Rate Shop screen, the Reservation screen will display an option to select “Yes” or “No” for Wait Time Authorized. The default value will always be “No” for new rides. The display will include the provider’s wait time rate and rules. If a round trip is reserved, the Reservation screen for the second reservation will default to “Yes” if the original reservation selection was “Yes”.

Car Service Provider Experience: Providers will receive reservations with either Y or N included in the Dispatch.DriverAuthorizedToWait reservation field. If the provider is not configured to allow authorized wait time, the value will always be N. If the provider is configured to support authorized wait time, the reservation field will display N if “No” was selected during reservation. The reservation field will display Y if “Yes” was selected during reservation.

Sabre Red App: As Directed Drop-off Location


Description: A drop-off location can be included with As Directed reservations.

Benefit: Some corporate customers require a drop-off location to be included on all rides. With this update, a Drop-off Location can now be added on the Booking screen when As Directed service is selected.  

Booking Agent Experience: When As Directed service is selected on the Booking screen and the option to Add Drop-off Location is present, selecting the Add Drop-off Location link opens a standard address selection window. When a Drop-off Location is added to an As Directed reservation, the detail is included in the reservation and sent to the provider. The Drop-off Location is also included in: Red App Trip Summary, Red App reservation detail, PNR remarks, and the reservation detail sent to the provider.

Sabre Red App: Agency Preferred Provider Display


Description: Agency Preferred Provider can now be enabled to display in Rate Shop.

Benefit: Agency Preferred Provider can be included in the Rate Shop display when desired.

Booking Agent Experience:  When Agency Preferred Providers are enabled for corporate accounts and there are matching providers available to service the reservation, the Rate Shop display will include the Agency Preferred Provider in the Rate Shop result set. The Agency Preferred Providers will include an “A” icon to distinguish them from the Corporate Preferred results.

Car Service Provider Experience: When selected, the Agency Preferred Providers will receive the reservations.

Note: Corporate Account Travel Admins should contact their Deem Account Manager to enable this option.
