Operators Enhancements (December 14, 2016)


Affiliate List Self-Management Feature

  • Description: Providers can quickly add affiliates or change contact details, assignment rules and service areas via a new tool under Admin called Affiliates

  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration, however in some instances configuring a new affiliate will require Deem Customer Service support
  • Features:  This new enhancement allows users to search for available providers to manage/add as affiliates, search by affiliate name or by reservation detail.

    Admin Affiliate Management Home View - Can search for available providers to manage/add as affiliates and users can search by affiliate name or by reservation detail.


    Admin Management Reservation View - Once the desired affiliate is selected users can now set service rules including: assignment rank, pick and drop service areas by city sections or base zones, airports serviced, vehicle types, and time periods. Users can also create multiple rules for each affiliate with assignment rank for each rule, for example: Provider A might have the highest rank SUV rides, Provider B the highest rank for evening airport rides, and Provider C the highest rank for weekend rides.


    Admin view to create new affiliate information -  Users can add an affiliate by searching by affiliate name and “Create” an affiliate by completing the contact information and rules for the desired affiliates.

Customer Details now included in the Confirmation Email

  • Description: The reservation confirmation email now is enhanced to include more customer detail and allow providers to suppress sensitive information being displayed for desired accounts. Operators are able to provide Booker and account numbers details, the "account name", extra passenger phone numbers. In additional, providers can configure the email subject line to include: desired universal content, conf #, passenger name, pick up details (date, time, address)
  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.

Price Quote Enhancement 

  • Description: Operators can quickly provide price quotes for new customers prior to creating new customer accounts.  
  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers but will require additional configuration by providers and Deem Customer Support.

Time Frame Filter Enhancement in Reservation Manager

  • Description: The default Reservation Manager time frame filter is updated to “Next 24 hours” to give users a full day of upcoming rides in the default view.
  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.


Affiliate Farm Out Email Update 

  • Description: Affiliates will no longer receive emails when the dispatcher changes the dispatch time on farm-out rides.
  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.


Affiliate Ride Assignment now managed via Reservation Manager 

  • Description:  This update makes managing affiliate rides and local farm-outs much easier by allowing users to change the servicing provider from in-house to affiliates, between affiliates, or affiliate back to in-house all from the Reservation Manager.
  • Configuration Experience: This is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.


Default Radius for the Auto Dispatch Driver Search Enhancement

  • Description: Providers can now tailor the driver search radius to best support their vehicle density and dispatch ahead time.
  • Configuration Experience: This is available to all Whisk customers but requires additional configuration by Deem Support.

Dispatch Notes now included in Reservation Details

  • Description: Dispatch Notes are included in Reservation Detail of the Reservation Manager to ensure the user has access to all the relevant ride information.
  • Configuration Experience:This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.

New Failed Card Card Authorization Message

  • Description: Dispatch error message for failed card authorization is updated to be more informative and now says “Sorry, your card could not be authorized. Please try a different card or contact your card company”.
  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.

Booker's user name now included on the Reservation Manger CSV download

  • Description: The CSV download on the Reservation Manager now includes the User Name of the person who took the reservation. 
  • Benefit: Providers can now use the down to report on operator productivity and track reservations back to the operator.
  • Configuration Experience: This feature is available to all Whisk customers without additional configuration.
