New Feature 2020.1.0 

Schedule Search

Description: Flight schedules can now be searched directly in GDS, allowing for enhanced, time-driven search performance.

Benefit: Users will now be able to reliably see all flight options departing at a specific time, when using the schedule search feature.

Site Admin Experience: Schedule Search is activated in the display configuration.

Enhancements 

IATA - Changed standards for collecting passenger information

Description: Deem now offers the SSRs required by Resolutions 830d. 

Benefit:  This relates to how Travel Agents are required to collect customers' emergency contact information and ensure that this information is made available to airlines, for the purposes of airline contact during irregular operations.

Site Admin Experience: Contact Deem Customer Support for assistance enabling the configuration.

Removed Speedy Boarding for RyanAir

Description: We have removed the Speedy Boarding option for RyanAir.

Benefit: On the purchase page, RyanAir bookings will no longer show Speedy Boarding as an option.

Description: We have added the airport code SCK/Stockton, CA.

Benefit: Users can now select airport code SCK (Stockton, CA).

TravelFusion carriers have been updated

Description: We have updated TravelFusion bookings to display a drop down menu with the option to select the number of bags on the purchase page. 

Benefit: The menu will allow users to select the number of bags from a drop down menu. If applicable, the baggage fees will be added to the cost prior to the booking.

Bug

Updated data mapping for hotel chains 

Description: We have updated data mapping for hotel chain CR/CHAKELA HOTELS AND RESORTS.

Benefit: CR has been updated to reflect the valid hotel chain.

Updated hotel loyalty map table 

Description: We have updated mappings for hotel chains to the corresponding loyalty programs and to correctly map hotel Superbrands on the purchase page.

Benefit: Users will now be able to select the hotel Superbrands on the purchase page and enter their loyalty number.

Updated car rental booking to ignore duplicate booking requests

Description: An automated message was returned in the GDS in an unexpected location, causing the application to occasionally book duplicate car rental segments. Deem is now able to ignore the message and create a booking normally.

Benefit: Users will now be able to book car rentals without any duplicate booking requests.

Updated partner dashboard to include ampersand character in company name

Description: We have updated the partner dashboard so that ampersand character (&) will now be accepted as a part of the Company Name.

Benefit: Users will now be able to view full company name including ampersand in all site messaging.

Updated issue with rental car booking

Description: We have updated the rental car booking site to ensure that users are able to select a car before the page has fully loaded all search results.

Benefit: Users are now able to select a car prior to supplemental results loading.

Updated to reprice logic for GDS-sourced Southwest

Description: We have updated Deem to reprice both restrictive and non-restrictive fare classes to honor the fare tier selected.

Benefit: User can now book best available fares on flights.

Updated to read Superdomain level branded fare

Description: We have made updates so branded fare pricing preference will now be read, when set at the Partner level. 

Benefit: Users will now see branded fare pricing preference.

Updated seat maps for Qantas Airlines

Description: We have updated Qantas Airlines seat maps so they no longer display unavailable seats to users.

Benefit: Users will now see paid and preferred seats for Qantas Airlines correctly displayed.

Updated User Profiles to not duplicate membership information

Description: Users will no longer see the hotel membership number duplicated in the User Profile, when the hotel chain code and the hotel loyalty program code are the same code.

Benefit: Users will no longer see the hotel membership number duplicated in the User Profile.

Updated issues with same day car rental

Description: We have updated same day car rental, so that users will no longer see an error message right after clicking the Search button. 

Benefit: Users will now be able to book same day car rental.
