Canceling a Reservation

To cancel a reservation, click the My Rides tab, and click the Cancel Ride link in the right column of a previously booked reservation:

 A dialog appears asking if you are sure about canceling the ride.

  • Click Cancel Ride to confirm. 
  • The cancel request is then either accepted or declined by the provider, and the Confirmation Status screen appears showing its status (Accepted or Declined).

After receiving confirmation of provider acceptance of the cancelation, the application automatically inserts the cancel information into the PNR as an Other Service Information (OSI) line.

Warning: After canceling a reservation, and before making any other changes, enter the ER (End transaction and Retrieve PNR) command in the PNR to end the transaction and view the segment. This action ensures that the cancel information is recorded correctly in the PNR. 

Changing a Reservation

Click the My Rides tab, and click the Make Changes link in the right column of a currently booked reservation. The reservation booking screen reappears with the original selections.

You can edit any or all of the selections. Once you are finished editing, click Continue, and then select a provider. Click the Book Reservation button to finish making the changes and resubmit the reservation.

The changed reservation is then either accepted or declined by the provider, and the Confirmation Status screen appears showing its status (Accepted or Declined).

Inserting a Change or Cancel Manually into the PNR

If for any reason the OSI segment for a booking does not appear in the PNR (such as simultaneous changes made to the PNR), you can insert the segment manually by clicking Insert Segment next to the accepted reservation under the My Rides tab.

If the OSI segment for a cancellation does not appear, you can click the Insert OSI link on the right side of the cancelled reservation to manually insert the OSI line.
