Enhancements for 2019.3.0 (Dec 2019)

Six New Languages Available

• Description: Deem Work Fource has expanded the translation capabilities to six new languages; Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazil), and Swedish.

• Benefit: Travel managers can now have their Work Fource sites translated into 14 languages and travelers will be able to book travel in their preferred languageSite Admin Experience:

Hotel Super Brands Grouping in Search Filter

• Description: The hotel search results brand filter has been updated to display all super brands at the top of the list menu. The remaining hotel brands will continue to be displayed below the super brands section of the list menu items.

• Benefit: Selection of a hotel brand for filtering of search results is now more intuitive, allowing the user to quickly and easily identify their desired results.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin is required.

Hotel Membership Assignment to Bookings

• Description: The assignment of hotel membership numbers to bookings has been enhanced to accommodate the relationship between hotel brands. Users with a membership account that is eligible to be honored by a hotel super brand and/or sub-brand will be associated to the booking accordingly.

• Benefit: Travelers with hotel memberships will receive the full benefits of their loyalty status.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

Enhanced Confirmation Process for Flight Seat Requests

• Description: We’ve added a backup flight seat request to the initial flight seat request, providing a fail-safe for the initial request. Following the end of the PNR transaction, if the seat is not yet confirmed, a secondary request will be processed.

• Benefit: Users requesting a flight seat will benefit from a higher likelihood of successful seat confirmation.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

 Flight Seat Request Approval for Loyalty Status Travelers

• Description: The seat request and subsequent error handling process has been updated to allow users with loyalty status to request seats specific to their status.

• Benefit: Users with loyalty status will see an improvement of their confirmation on requested flight seats.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

British Airways Interactive Flight Seat Map

• Description: Travelers selecting business and first class fares on British Airways will now have the option of requesting a seat through Deem's interactive seat map and "Pin Seat" feature. Travelers selecting an economy/coach fare will continue to view the seat map as read-only. The read-only seat map view is a result of low reliability of seat request confirmation on specific carriers and fare tiers.

• Benefit: British Airways business and first class travelers will be able to pre-request a seat during the online booking process.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

Flight Seat Request Status Messaging

• Description: Requested flight seats with a pending status will now be displayed with a display label of "On Request", rather than the previously displayed status label of "Unconfirmed".

• Benefit: Improved messaging provides travelers with a more reliable indication of their requested seat status.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is necessary.

Dashboard Configuration for Optional Cost Allocation Assignment

• Description: A new configuration option has been added for "Cost Segment Travel Display" that allows for travel managers to define the cost allocation field as required or optional during the booking process.

• Benefit: Travel managers will have the flexibility to display the cost allocation field as optional to their site users.

• Site Admin Experience: Administration experience is required to configure the optional status for the cost allocation field. By default, this field is required when displayed to users. Please contact Customer Support for assistance.

User Interface Enhancements to User Account Profile Display

• Description: As part of Deem's ongoing user experience upgrades, the layout and consistency of the user account profile pages were updated.

• Benefit: Users will benefit from consistency in button placements, navigation and content alignment. Additionally, if users attempt to leave the page without saving their changes, a notification message will be displayed.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

User Interface Enhancements to Unused Tickets Display

• Description: As part of Deem's ongoing user experience upgrades, the layout and consistency of the unused tickets page has been updated.

• Benefit: Users will benefit from consistency in button placements and instructional text.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

Regional Sky Airlines

• Description: Regional Sky Airlines has been added to Deem Work Fource.

• Benefit: Users now have the opportunity to book services on this airline.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

Ravn Alaska / Corvus Airlines

• Description: Ravn Alaska / Corvus Airlines has been added to Deem Work Fource.

• Benefit: Users now have the opportunity to book services on this airline.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

Bejing, China Airport PKX

• Description: Bejing Airport PKX has been added to Deem Work Fource.

• Benefit: Users now have the opportunity to book services through this airport location.

• Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.

Mocopulli, Chile Airport MHC

• Description: Mocopulli Airport MHC has been added to Deem Work Fource.

• Benefit: Users now have the opportunity to book services through this airport location.

Bug Fixes in the 2019.3.0 Release

 Cost allocation data when purchasing from hold and modifying the booking

Issue: The cost allocation information was not flowing into the PNR data during the purchase from hold flow has been resolved.

Lufthansa flights pricing down into basic fare 

Issue: The application of branded fare pricing codes was updated for EMEA markets to ensure pricing into the selected fare.

Improvement for married segment processing

Issue: Married segment processing was enhanced to ensure multi-connection itineraries can be parsed when only a partial set of the segments are married.

Issues processing change return flight only

Issue:  The issue affecting the "Change Return Flight Only" feature for in-progress trips (e.g. first segment flown) has been resolved. This applies to automated ticket exchange only. The link for change return flight will be displayed for a maximum of four hours after departure of the outbound leg. The change attempt will be blocked if the ticket status does not allow an exchange.

Forced connection airport improvement

Issue: Enhanced logic in air search will now better surface unusual connection cities when requested by the user.

Updated flight fare rule logic

Issue: Update to fare rule logic to continue to ensure accurate interpretation of change and cancel penalties. Issue was reported on Cathay Pacific Airways and will provide benefit for all carriers filing similar fare rules.
