About the Release Notes

Deem release notes provide useful technical information about the latest release. For each release, the notes provide:

  • A high-level description of the release, including major changes and enhancements

  • Instructions to help you get started with set-up and administration (when applicable)

Feature Enhancement:

Multi Destination Split Ticketing Enhancement

  • Travelers using the Multi Destination search flows will now have additional flights presented for selection based on updated split ticketing logic for this workflow.

  • Domain or Super Domain must have split ticketing and schedule based search enabled for this enhancement. When enabled, Multi Destination search will default to Search by Schedule:

  • Travelers will now be offered many more flight options for each destination search, as we will potentially price as split tickets, if a single ticket is priced due to airline ticketing agreement restrictions.

  • A multi leg itinerary will attempt to be priced in this order:

    • Price itinerary as single ticket. If unable then,

    • Price itinerary as multiple tickets with each ticket containing only segments on the same airline. If unable then,

    • Price itinerary as multiple tickets with each itinerary leg as a separate ticket.

  • This will result in potential for split ticket itinerary, with each ticket price called out on RTP along with the total of the entire itinerary.

Notes:

This feature is currently enabled for sites using the Sabre GDS only.

This feature is currently only available for Deem legacy desktop (PWA desktop, Android and iOS do not yet support Multi Destination Search by Schedule workflows).
