About the Release Notes  

Deem release notes provide useful technical information about the latest release. For each release, the notes provide:

Enhancements for October 2021 (Release 2021.9 and 2021.10)

KTN and Redress number expiration date alerts

• Description: We have updated the system to send KTN and Redress number expiration date alerts.

• Benefit: Travelers with KTN and Redress numbers will now be able to add an expiration date and receive expiration alerts 30 days prior to expiry.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Amadeus Car Rental

• Description: We have updated the system to allow travelers to book special equipments with their car rental.

• Benefit: Travelers will now be able to select/book specific special equipments while booking car rental with specific vendors in Amadeus GDS.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Trip Cost Summary

• Description:  A canceled booking no longer shows 'Payable Later' for a hotel or car reservation on the Trip Cost Summary.

• Benefit: Travelers will no longer see Trip Cost Summary with ‘Payable Later’ option for hotel or car reservation on a canceled itinerary.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Bug Fixes for October 2021 (Release 2021.9 and 2021.10)

• Notifications for guest travelers will go to the email address specified during purchase

• Amadeus fixes

  • Hotel names of longer than 40 characters are handled

  • Improved behavior for purchase from hold

  • United Airlines seat maps are selectable

• Profile field data can be removed during upload through the usage of double quotes (““)

• Email addresses ending with an underscore are supported (e.g deem_@deem.com)

• Extended segment format supported for Car Service PNR Sync

• PNR XML values updated for hotel search type and nightly rates

• Aircraft 7M9 has been updated in the system

• Users of Sabre BFM will see the correct per person airfare cost on a multi-passenger booking

• Airport code BKL (Cleveland Lakefront OH) has been set as a commercial airport and is available for flight search

• Airline code UE - Ultimate Air Shuttle - has been added to the system

• 50 character limitation for fare basis code field has been removed

• TravelApproverID field is available in PNR XML

• Name for airline code AZ has been updated to ITA

• Apollo GDS customers will see GOV rates returned in hotel search results

• Pre-Trip Approval issues related to Nightly Rates is fixed
