About the Release Notes  

The Deem release notes provide useful technical information about the latest release. For each release, the notes provide:

Enhancements for May 2021 (Release 2021.4)

Private Rates File Export 

• Description: We have the system to allow for original uploaded private rates file export.

• Benefit: Site Admins will now be able to download the original uploaded private rate files without any changes.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Branded Fares for Virgin Atlantic 

• Description: Branded fare pricing has been added for carrier Virgin Atlantic.

• Benefit: Travelers will now see branded fares for Virgin Atlantic.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Amadeus Loyalty Error Codes 

• Description: We have introduced a configurable list of loyalty error codes for Amadeus subscribers.

• Benefit: Amadeus customers will be able to book hotels through Deem.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Bug Fixes for May 2021 (Release 2021.4)

Sabre Web Service Hotels 

• Description: We have improved error handling response for Sabre web service hotels.

• Benefit: Travelers will be now be able to select a new hotel, when the originally requested hotel reservation fails.

• Site Admin Experience: Contact Deem Customer Support for assistance enabling the configuration.

Finnair Display Name 

• Description: We have updated the name for Finnair (AY).

• Benefit: Travelers will see the correct name for Finnair.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Sabre Profiles Safe Mode Error  

• Description: We have resolved the issue with the SABRE PROFILES SAFE MODE NOT AVAILABLE error message returned by Sabre during PNR Creation. 

• Benefit: Travelers will be able to book travel without issues.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Self-Delegation for Guest Profile  

• Description: We have updated the system to allow travel arrangers to self-delegate a guest profile.

• Benefit: Travelers arrangers will now see the guest that they selected, under the "People I Can Book and Submit For" section.

• Site Admin Experience: Contact Deem Customer Support for assistance enabling the configuration.

Amadeus PNR Sync 

• Description: We have improved the PNR Sync functionality for Amadeus GDS.

• Benefit: Travelers will get a confirmed reservation.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Amadeus Process End Transact Errors 

• Description: We have improved end transact error handling for Amadeus subscribers.

• Benefit: Amadeus customers will now be able to book travel on Deem without issues.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Amadeus Car Rental Membership ID 

• Description: We have updated the system so that car rental membership numbers can be included in a reservation for Amadeus subscribers.

• Benefit: Amadeus customers will now be able to book travel on Deem without issues.

• Site Admin Experience: Contact Deem Customer Support for assistance enabling the configuration.

Concord Airport in Car Rental Search

• Description: We have added Concord airport code USA to Deem airport lookup.

• Benefit: Travelers will now be able to search for a car rental in Concord, NC.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

New Southwest Airlines (WN) Routes 

• Description: We have added new Southwest (WN) routes. The following routes were added:WN SAV (Savannah, GA), WN COS (Colorado Springs, CO), WN ORD (Chicago, IL), WN MTJ (Montrose, CO), WN SBS (Steamboat Springs, CO), WN PSP (Palm Springs, CA), WN MIA (Miami, FL), WN BZN (Belgrade, MT), WN VPS (Eglin AFB, FL), WN FAT (Fresno, CA), WN SBA (Santa Barbara, CA), WN JAN (Jackson, MS), WN IAH (Houston, TX), WN MYR (Myrtle Beach, SC), WN EUG (Eugene, OR), WN BLI (Bellingham, WA), and WM SRQ (Sarasota, FL).

• Benefit: Travelers will see all Southwest flight options.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Purchasing Held Trips 

• Description: We have fixed the bug that was preventing some users from purchasing a held itinerary.

• Benefit: Travelers will be able to purchase a held trip.
