About the Release Notes

Enhancements for December 2020 (Release 2020.3.2) 

Car Rental SafetyCheck 

• Description: SafetyCheck link and icon have been added to the Car Rental page.

• Benefits: Travelers will now be able to click the SafetyCheck icon on the Car Rental page, to get to a modal with company-specific information on COVID procedures.

• Site Admin Experience: No admin experience needed.

One-Way Flight Preference 

• Description: Ability to default to One-Way option for Flight Search is now available for the Trip Planner page.

• Benefit: Travelers will now be able to set an option in the Display Configuration to default to One-Way searches on the Trip Planner page.

• Site Admin Experience: Contact Deem Customer Support for assistance enabling the configuration.

Amadeus Hotel Search Results 

• Description: Unbookable hotel rate codes will be filtered out of the search results.

• Benefit: Travelers will not see unbookable hotels on the Hotel Search Results page.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Bug Fixes for December 2020 (Release 2020.3.2) 

Sabre CSL Stored Fare 

• Description: We have updated the Sabre CSL hotel booking procedure to ensure that PNR segment line numbers in the stored fare are equal to the PNR segment line numbers in the last reservation revision, in the case of segment select pricing. 

• Benefit: Agency ticketing automation will be able to rely on the stored fare when the hotel is added to an existing PNR.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Sabre CSL Payment Card - Hotel Guarantee  

• Description: Special characters will now be stripped from the payment cardholder's name, when being output to the Sabre GDS in a hotel guarantee format.

• Benefit: Travelers will be able to book hotels without any issues.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Sabre CSL Payment Card - Received Field 

• Description: Special characters are stripped from passenger name, when being output to the Sabre GDS in a received field.

• Benefit: Travelers will now be able to complete a booking and receive a confirmation.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Sabre CSL PNR  

• Description: We have fixed an issue with PNR, so PNR now ends appropriately when seat assignments fail.

• Benefit: Travelers will be able to complete booking without any issues.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Private Air Fare Discount Code for Mobile 

• Description: We have updated reprice to look for both "CORP ID" and "CORPID" to confirm air private fare discount code is applied. 

• Benefit: Travelers will now see the discount code applied to their booking.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Apollo Interline Pricing 

• Description: We have updated Apollo reprice retry logic to drop the carrier code, in the case of an interline itinerary that is failing pricing, allowing Apollo to select the plating carrier.

• Benefit: Travelers will now see the correct carrier code.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Airline Code 9F 

• Description: We have updated the database to properly identify carrier code 9F as Eurostar, when added manually or by profile upload.

• Benefit: Travelers will now see the proper label of Eurostar in the Air Membership section of their Account or Purchase Trip pages.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Branded Fares Configuration 

• Description: We have fixed an issue affecting BFM users and branded fares.

• Benefit: BFM Users will be able to turn off branded fare pricing via the Agency Configuration.

• Site Admin Experience: Contact Deem Customer Support for assistance enabling the configuration.

Apple Map 

• Description: We have resolved an issue with Apple Map, so the Car Rental map renders correctly for itineraries.

• Benefit: Travelers will now see the correct pick-up and drop-off location for rental cars on Apple Maps.

• Site Admin Experience: Rental Cars must be enabled on the site.

Amadeus Booking Flow 

• Description: We have fixed an issue that was causing intermittent slowness with Amadeus responses.

• Benefit: Travelers will not see any slowness with booking with Amadeus.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.

Airport Code BER 

• Description: We have updated the Airport database for airport code BER. This replaces airport code TXL.

• Benefit: Travelers will now be able to add air to an existing hotel or car itinerary.

• Site Admin Experience: No Admin experience required.
