About the Release Notes
The Deem release notes provide useful technical information about the latest release. For each release, the notes provide:
- A high-level description of the release, including major changes and enhancements.
- Instructions to help you get started with set-up and administration (when applicable).
Enhancements in the 2019.1.2 Release
Dynamic Site Messaging (DSM) configurations available at the Partner level
- Description: Dynamic site messaging can now be applied within the Partner configurations settings in the Deem administration dashboard.
- Benefit: Travel managers are able to configure DSM on multiple sites within a single configuration, saving time and duplication of scripting. All settings available within the site-level configurations have been replicated within the partner-level configurations.
- Site Admin Experience: DSM configuration requires site admin experience. Follow the steps below to locate the DSM configuration at the Partner level:
- Click the Configuration tab
- In the "Custom Field Configurations" section, click the Manage Custom Field Collections link
Hotel search by property name
- Description: Searching for a specific hotel by property name on the trip planner page will now return the hotel as the top result on the hotel search results page.
- Benefit: Users searching for a specific hotel property will have immediate access to select the desired hotel property without additional filtering on the hotel results page.
- Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.
Hotel super-brands identified and grouped within the Deem user profile
- Description: Hotel super-brands will now be grouped and displayed at the top of the hotel memberships selection menu on the user profile page.
- Benefit: User's updating their profile with their hotel membership numbers will now be able to identify and select the hotel super-brand associated with their membership more quickly and accurately.
- Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.
Time zone selection during user registration
- Description: First time users will be presented with a time zone selection on the Deem registration and account activation page.
- Benefit: This feature allows customers with multiple global agency locations to recognize individual user time zones, rather than applying a default time zone to all users.
- Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.
New Southwest Hawaii routes added
- Description: Southwest announced several new markets between Hawaii and the mainland as well as inter-island. Deem has added these routes to the supported airfare options.
- Benefit: Users traveling within these Hawaiian routes are able to book their airfare on Deem Work Fource.
- Site Admin Experience: No site admin experience is required.
Bug Fixes in the 2019.1.2 Release
Repricing airfare into basic economy on sites with basic economy blocked
Issue: Use cases were identified in which airfare selections were being repriced into basic economy within the trip review page on sites with basic economy blocked. This issue has been resolved for Sabre customers and the selected fare tiers are being honored. The issue is being addressed for Apollo customers with a resolution targeted for hot patch release during the week of May 20th.

Repricing airfare into economy when business or first class was selected
Issue: Use cases were identified in which airfare selections were being repriced from first class or business into economy within the trip review page. This issue has been resolved and the selected fare tiers are being honored.

Lufthansa and British Airways fares assigned to incorrect fare tiers within airfare search results
Issue: Fares were being incorrectly categorized into fare tiers in some intra-Europe markets. This issue has been resolved.

Page expired message displayed when searching for airfare departing "today"
Issue: Users selecting to search for airfare departing "today" with a time window of "anytime" were experiencing a page expired message while searching. This issue has been resolved.

Error displayed when selecting to view details or add a service to an existing reservation
Issue: The option to "Add Service" or "View Details" on an existing reservation was resulting in an error message. Users are now able to view details and add a service with no errors.
