Car Service can be added to the existing itinerary from the Reservations page or the Trip Details page. All Car Service segments will be added to the PNR.
Please Note: This option will be displayed either immediately or 5 hours after the trip is booked. It is a siteĀ configuration in zookeeper.
There are 2 ways to add Car Service to an existing reservation, follow these steps:
Click the Reservation tab
Open the reservation and click the Add Services link
Click the + Add Car Service from the dropdown list
From the Reservation page, click the View Details link
On the Trip Details page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the +Add Car Service link
You will be presented with the Traveler Itinerary where you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and Click +Add Car Service to book multiple segments of Car Service.
First Car Service segment has all information available in the PNR
Drop off location
Flight information
Pickup date
Traveler needs to enter the pickup location
When pickup location is entered, pickup time is pre-calculated
On the last car service segment, pick up location and date will be automatically entered and the user needs to enter the drop off location only.
All the needed information is automatically entered for the ride from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport
Destination airport
Flight information
Hotel address
Pickup date and time based on arrival information in the PNR
Even though routing is done to and from hotel the location could be changed at any time.
Example: To an office address
Traveler can add an ad hoc Car Service segment where they would enter custom pickup and drop off information as well
Traveler needs to select a car for all selected segments. Search Results page for the next segment will be displayed as soon as the traveler selects a car.
Trip cost summary includes Car Services as payable later
Operator will charge credit card on file after the ride has been completed
Trip details display Car Service on the same PNR as the rest of the travel segments
Car Service segment is written into the GDS as an active segment
Agents can update, cancel or book a new reservation for travelers by Sabre Red application, Apollo or Sabre Saturn applications
