Q. Why is the Etta brand going away? 

A. We noticed people simply called the platform “Deem.” You spoke and we listened. That’s why we’re changing its name to Deem. 

Q. Will travelers need to download a different mobile app?

A. Travelers can keep the same mobile app. There’s no need to download a new app. 

Q. Will the mobile app automatically switch from Etta to Deem?

A. If you have automatic updates enabled on your mobile device, the app will automatically switch from Etta to Deem. If you do not have automatic updates enabled, the logo will be updated the next time you update the mobile app. 

Q. Will this rebrand change the user experience? 

A. The rebrand will not change the user experience.

Q. Will the existing Etta user facing documentation (i.e. QSGs, How to Videos, etc.) be updated?

A. Yes, Etta user facing documentation will be updated with Deem branding. 

Q. Will existing feature names also be rebranded? 

A. Yes, feature names will be updated with Deem: Deem, Deem Go, Uber for Business and Deem, Ask Deem, etc. 

Q. Will the Etta Go brand change as well?

A. Yes, Etta Go will be rebranded to Deem Go. 

Q. Will the colors be changing? 

A. No, all brand colors will remain the same.
