Travelfusion enables Deem users to shop and book Low Cost Carriers, which may not be available in the GDS, or at a lower cost than the published GDS rates.

  • Travelfusion is a low cost GDS and the pioneer of 'direct connect' content aggregation.

  • Deem currently does not support Travelfusion carriers which require TFPay. Deem is working on a future enhancement for those carriers which require TFPAY. 

    • No ETA at this time on the

enhancement 
    • enhancement.

    • Please DO NOT configure the following carriers (They support TFPay only), as your users will not have the ability to complete their purchase and will receive an error. Deem is working to remove them. 

      • Avelo Airlines

      • IndiGo - unless they have B2B (Business to Business contract) set up

      • Norwegian

      • Wizz Air

  • Allegiant Air

    • There have been issues booking Allegiant Air through Travelfusion, you can configure Allegiant Air, but keep in mind you may have issues.

    • Note: If Pre Trip Approval is enabled, Travelfusion will be auto approved.

  • B2B - Business to Business can be set up with specific carriers.

    • On the Services tab, select Travel Agency.

         Name each Ancillary fee to make it easy to distinguish for each other Example:
        •  Provided name that best defines ancillary, such as; TF - EasyJet.

          • This tells me the Ancillary fee is Travelfusion, and carrier is EasyJet

      • Source: Shows source you selected in the previous screen

        • Airline: Select carrier from list.

        • Airline Private Rate Codes:

        Enter private rate code if client has one
        • (not required).

        • Source Override: Select

        the radio button to the left of
        • one of the below options.

          • Replace Primary Source Content:

          • Supplement Primary Source Content:

            • Air search results will present both Travelfusion (Web fares) as well as GDS. Customers will be presented with the lowest fare (Web or GDS).

        Example: If the Web fare is offering a lower cost than the GDS, then the user will be presented with the web fare. Yet if the GDS fare is lower than the GDS rate will be present to the user.

        • Exclude Primary Source Content:

        • Would you like the system to add ancillary passive segments to your primary GDS?: Select the radio button to the left of one of the below options

          • Yes, using Custom PNR:

          • Yes, system generated:

          • (Recommended)

          • No, do not add passive segments to primary GDS:

          • Enable airline web fare booking capabilities?:

            • Choose Yes to enable web fare booking. Web fares include VMI Baby, Ryan Air, and EasyJet, American Airlines B2B.

            • Choose No to not allow web fare booking.

        Test

        Important: Many fares with Travelfusion are non-cancelable/non-refundable.

        Insure when testing that you verify the fare is fully refundable before selecting purchase, or do not select purchase and only confirm the content is being displayed properly.
